Your information

Privacy & cookie policy

How information is handled when you browse E GAMEKEYS or contact us.

Draft updated: 28 September 2026

1. About this policy

EGamekeys operates this website from Cyprus. For privacy questions, email contact@egamekeys.com.

To complete: business address and confirmation of the full registered operator name, if different from EGamekeys.

This policy covers visitors to the EGamekeys website and people who contact us. It explains the current preview and identifies matters that must be completed for the live service.

2. Information collected

Messages you send. When you email us, your email address, message and any details you choose to include are shared with the recipient and email providers involved. These details are used to respond to your enquiry. Please do not send passwords or payment card details.

Browsing. Loading pages and external resources sends technical information such as your IP address and browser information to the servers providing them. Hosting logs and their retention must be confirmed for the live website.

Accounts and purchases. Account forms are being connected to Google Firebase Authentication. Registration is unavailable until project configuration is complete. Once enabled, your email, password and optional profile name are processed by Firebase for account creation, sign-in, verification and password recovery. Checkout is a demonstration and does not process payments. The cart is held in page memory and resets on a full page load. This notice must be updated when live services are introduced.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

Information is used to display the website, remember your preferences and respond to messages you send. Firebase account integration is prepared but not configured. Order fulfilment and payment processing remain inactive.

Before launch, confirm the lawful basis for each activity: steps requested before a purchase or performance of a contract where applicable; legal obligations for required records; properly assessed legitimate interests for relevant support or security activities; and consent where required. These are matters for review, not a statement that every basis applies to every activity.

4. Recipients and overseas processing

Website infrastructure, email delivery and external resources can involve service providers receiving personal information. The providers currently selected or visible in the website code are described below.

Before launch, confirm each recipient’s role, processing locations, any transfers outside the European Economic Area and the applicable safeguards. Being based in Cyprus does not mean that all service providers process data only in Cyprus.

5. Hosting, payments and external services

The website loads fonts from Google Fonts and game artwork from Steam’s image CDN and IGDB. Your browser connects directly to those services when loading their resources. Their handling of those requests is subject to their own privacy notices.

Hosting. Cloudflare is the selected website infrastructure provider. The specific Cloudflare services, logging settings and processing locations remain to be confirmed for the live deployment.

Planned payments. The intended payment options are PayPal, Visa cards and Paysafe. They are not connected to the current demo checkout. The exact card payment processor and Paysafe product, and the information shared with each provider, must be confirmed before payments are enabled.

Using a contact email link opens your email application. An email is sent only when you choose to send it.

To complete: Cloudflare configuration, email and account providers, the Visa payment processor, the specific Paysafe service, recipients, processing locations and any international transfer safeguards.

6. Your data protection rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict or object to processing, and receive portable data. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

To make a request, email contact@egamekeys.com. Identity verification may be needed to protect your information. Where GDPR applies, you may also complain to a supervisory authority, including in the country where you live or work.

Rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable law. Please explain your request and provide enough information for us to identify the relevant records; do not email passwords or full payment card details.

7. Retention of information

Language and currency preferences remain in local storage until cleared or replaced. The preview cart lasts only for the current page session. Your browser may separately retain form entries or saved credentials according to your browser settings.

To complete: retention periods or criteria for support messages, server logs and any future account or order records.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

The current website code saves your selected language and currency in your browser’s local storage so they can be remembered on later visits. You can remove these preferences using your browser’s clear site data settings.

No advertising or analytics scripts are included in the current website code. An analytics service has not been confirmed. Cloudflare dashboard settings and any future integrations must be checked before launch; any additional tracking and consent choices must be described before use.

Local storage is different from a cookie: it stores values in your browser rather than automatically attaching them to every web request. Both can be used to remember choices. The current preference storage has no expiry set by the website.

9. Managing browser preferences

You can review or delete saved website data through your browser’s privacy or site settings. Select this website and clear its cookies and site data to reset stored language and currency choices. Browser menu names differ between devices.

Blocking storage may prevent preferences from being remembered. Clearing website data does not delete emails already sent to support or records held by external providers.

11. Protecting information

Please avoid sending sensitive information that is unnecessary for a support request. When accounts become available, use a unique password and keep your login details private.

Before launch, confirm the safeguards actually implemented for access control, encrypted connections, backups, provider access and incident handling. No claim is made here that these measures have already been deployed.

12. Children and young visitors

Accounts and purchases are not enabled in this preview. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent personal information can contact us to request a review.

Confirm the service’s minimum age and any parental authorisation requirements before enabling registration. A game’s age rating does not by itself determine the rules for processing a child’s information.

13. Updates to this notice

This page will be revised when the website’s services or information practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest draft. Material changes should be communicated before new processing begins; publishing an updated notice does not itself obtain consent.
