1. About EGamekeys
EGamekeys operates from Cyprus. Contact us at contact@egamekeys.com. These draft terms describe the proposed sale of digital game keys through this website.
Before launch: Confirm the full legal seller name, business address, registration details, contact telephone number and VAT number where applicable, and whether EGamekeys sells directly or operates a marketplace.
2. Website and service availability
The current website is in development. Firebase account setup is pending; checkout does not collect payment and no game keys are delivered. Clicking the demo checkout does not place an order. The sales provisions below are proposed terms for the future live service.
3. Accounts and responsible use
When accounts become available, provide accurate details, protect your login information and contact us if you suspect unauthorised access. Do not use stolen payment information, attempt to compromise the website or misuse another person’s account.
Before launch: Confirm the minimum purchasing age, parental authorisation requirements and account suspension process before enabling registration.
4. Products and activation requirements
Digital game keys are codes used to redeem content on the platform specified in the product listing. Before ordering, check the game edition, platform, supported device, language, region restrictions, system requirements and whether a separate platform account is required. Follow the stated activation instructions. Product-specific restrictions must be clearly disclosed before purchase. These terms do not override your rights where a listing is inaccurate.
Before launch: Confirm product sourcing, licence restrictions and the information shown on every live product listing.
5. Orders and contract formation
Before payment, you must be able to review the selected products, correct errors and see the total payable amount. The live checkout must clearly indicate when an action creates an obligation to pay. An order acknowledgement and acceptance may be separate communications.
Before launch: Specify the exact point when the contract is formed, how acceptance is communicated and how an order confirmation and applicable terms are supplied in a durable format such as email.
6. Prices, taxes and payment
The intended payment options are PayPal, Visa cards and Paysafe. Available methods and the final charge currency will be shown at the live checkout. The total price, including applicable taxes and mandatory charges, must be shown before an order is placed. No additional charge should be added without the required agreement. Currency conversions displayed in the current preview are illustrative.
Before launch: Confirm the Visa payment processor, Paysafe product, VAT treatment, settlement currency, payment capture timing and any permitted fees.
7. Digital delivery
Keys will be delivered digitally using the method and timeframe disclosed before purchase. No physical product is supplied unless a listing expressly says otherwise. If a promised delivery does not arrive, contact support with your order reference. Your statutory remedies for failure to supply remain available.
Before launch: Confirm delivery channels, delivery times, stock handling and any pre-order arrangements. Do not promise instant delivery until the fulfilment system supports it.
8. Cancellation and withdrawal
For covered EU distance contracts, consumers generally have 14 days from conclusion of a digital-content contract to withdraw, subject to applicable exceptions. To exercise an available withdrawal right, send a clear statement to contact@egamekeys.com before the deadline. You may use the sample notice below, but it is not compulsory.
For paid digital content supplied immediately, loss of the withdrawal right requires the applicable legal conditions, including prior express consent to begin supply during the withdrawal period, acknowledgement of losing that right when supply begins, and the required contract confirmation. Accepting these terms alone is not that consent. Simply viewing a key must not be treated as an automatic waiver without the applicable conditions being met.
Where a withdrawal refund is due, it will be made within the applicable statutory deadline, generally within 14 days of notification, using the original payment method unless otherwise expressly agreed without fees.
Sample withdrawal notice: To EGamekeys, contact@egamekeys.com: I give notice that I withdraw from my contract for [product], ordered on [date], order reference [reference]. My name and address are [details]. Date: [date]. Include a signature only if submitting on paper.
Before launch: Confirm the legal classification of the products, add the seller’s postal address to the notice and implement the appropriate consent and confirmation process before immediate delivery is enabled.
9. Invalid keys, faults and refunds
If a key is invalid, already used or inconsistent with the product description, contact support with the order reference and relevant error details. Do not post the key publicly or send your password. We may request proportionate information to investigate the issue.
Applicable consumer remedies may include bringing the digital content into conformity without charge and, where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or termination and refund. Activating a key or losing a change-of-mind withdrawal right does not remove statutory remedies for faulty or misdescribed content. These terms impose no blanket “no refunds” rule.
Before launch: Confirm the support investigation process and any additional voluntary refund policy. Voluntary conditions must not limit statutory rights.
10. Third-party platforms and intellectual property
Game publishers and activation platforms may require acceptance of their own licence terms and an account to use their services. Review the requirements identified in the listing. Purchasing a key does not transfer ownership of a game’s copyright or trademarks. Third-party terms do not remove EGamekeys’ obligations as seller where applicable.
11. Privacy and communications
Our Privacy & cookie policy explains the current handling of information and planned services. Contact details supplied for order support do not by themselves constitute consent to marketing.
12. Responsibility and consumer protections
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any responsibility or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Any applicable statutory protection takes priority over an inconsistent provision.
Before launch: Any further limitation of liability must be reviewed against Cyprus law and the mandatory rights of the customers served.
13. Support and complaints
Send complaints to contact@egamekeys.com, describing the issue and including your order reference if available. Keep a copy of your correspondence. You may use the competent consumer protection or dispute-resolution channels available under applicable law.
Before launch: Confirm complaint response targets and any required information about the relevant alternative dispute-resolution body. Do not claim participation in a scheme unless confirmed.
14. Applicable law and changes
These draft terms are prepared for a Cyprus-based business. Any choice of governing law or court must preserve the mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rights that apply to the customer. The version agreed for a purchase should remain available with the order confirmation; later revisions should not retrospectively reduce rights under an existing contract.
Before launch: Confirm the governing-law wording and final effective date after review for the intended sales territories.
